    Bioflavon Ltd. was established in 2003 in Obninsk, the First Russian Science City (there are 12 federal research centers in Obninsk)

    Brief History

    December 2002

    The Board of Directors of the Russian Timber Company made a decision to diversify its business.

    That resulted in two new strategic directions of activity and incorporation of two companies:

    • Bioflavon Ltd. – development and production of substances extracted from the natural plant material for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food industries
    • BiSmark Ltd. – manufacture of furniture component parts and accessories

    August 2004 Official permit was granted to produce Flavocon® - first product in the company product line

    December 2004 Company took part at first as exhibitor in international exhibition CPhI Worldwide 2004 in Brussels.

    April 2005 Company took part at first as exhibitor in international exhibition In-cosmetics 2005 in Berlin.

    April 2007 Company had won the 3rd prize for innovative cosmetics raw materials in international competition BSB European Innovation Prize. Rewarding ceremony was at exhibition In – cosmetics 2007 in17 of April in Paris.
